The Ōkami Video Game Soundtrack
The original award-winning soundtrack with its elegant blend of Japanese and Western style music, was released on five CDs in 2005, and in the meantime has been re-released on CD, digital download and even vinyl records.1 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0884870/awards
The beautiful packaging and bonuses with printed artwork included in each album, already make the purchase worthwhile. However, it’s the quality of the included music that makes owning this soundtrack an especially rich and rewarding experience.
With music composed by Akari Groves, Rei Kondo, Masami Ueda and Hiroshi Yamaguchi, the soundtrack went on to earn enduring praise from its listeners.
The beautiful vinyl record soundtrack release includes a forty page book of Ōkami artwork, and access to high quality digital track downloads.
In future updates to this page, you’ll find several good places to purchase the soundtrack releases. For now, you can find more information and listen to music from the soundtrack by checking the links below:

While it may seem “old fashioned” to buy an actual album on CD (or vinyl record), when owning a physical copy of an album is this rewarding, I’ll confidently recommend buying one. The album will also make a great gift!
In fact, I hope that other (mainstream) music publishers will work harder to make buying a physical album more rewarding, by including special bonuses that cannot be “downloaded” like those you get with Ōkami’s albums.
